The night life in Chiang Mai is crazy cool and fun. There are so many places to dance, drink and eat.
One thing I look forward to most when going out at night is the street food. Thai street food is the best drunk food. There are so many types and an unlimited amount of stands and shops to try. Two of my personal favourites is “Kra pow” (spicy pork with basil and chilies) and “khao soi” (coconut curry with noodles). There is also a wide variety of other cuisines like Indian, Italian, Mexican and other western food but nothing really compares to Thai food in Thailand.

The two biggest beers in Thailand are Chang and Leo which you can buy anywhere. My personal favourite is Leo.
There are some cons to the night life here however; for one most bars close at 12 so you need to ask around to find out what bars/clubs are still open after 12. Another is that from 2pm to 5pm you cannot buy alcohol is stores. While it is a pain, this rule has significantly decreased drunk driving in Thailand.
